Few torches are lit; the stone streets are dark and quiet. The gray pavement is wet from the recent rain.
You want to go home. You've had a long day of avoiding trouble and you know that evening means sleep. Unfortunately, your friend, (a reckless boy), is tugging you forward. "Adventure awaits!" He says with a big grin.
You don't agree.
... which of course means you are forced into a fist-fight just down the block.
